PayGo, a leading utility consumer engagement and integrated payments provider, announced today an agreement to enhance its core applications through the integration of Apogee Interactive’s (Apogee) advanced customer engagement and energy efficiency suite. Utilities and their customers can now benefit from sophisticated tools that leverage historical consumption and forecasted weather data providing more timely and accurate consumer energy usage information. Past energy usage along with forecasted data will allow for increased energy awareness. It will also enable consumers to manage their energy bills in a more flexible and convenient manner. Of note, Pre-Pay energy programs alone have delivered significant customer satisfaction increases while reducing energy usage as much as 10%.
According to Jim Malcom, Executive Vice President of Apogee, “Partnering with PayGo is a natural extension of our relationships with our utility clients. Using Apogee’s RESNET® accredited analytical engine across multiple communication channels to perform the usage analysis and forecasting assures an accurate and consistent message is conveyed to the utilities entire customer base, building trust, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing customer satisfaction. ”
Utilities will be able to learn more about the new solutions at DistribuTECH 2014 next week in San Antonio. PayGo will have a booth (#3652) with a representative from Apogee available for comment.
“PayGo is delighted to work with Apogee on such an innovative consumer initiative,” said David Elve, Chief Marketing Officer of PayGo. “Combining the rich information and content developed and generated by Apogee with PayGo’s payment and engagement platform will drive higher customer satisfaction as well as additional energy conservation.”
